In a masterclass display, the Makbet Allstars FC overpowered its opponent Tira Allstars with 4 goals to nothing as the Ikorodu Constituency II Unity Cup enters week 4 across the four centres.
Makbet with the dominant win have so far garnered 11 points from four matches to top the Igbogbo centre’s league table. Tira still maintains its one point on the table.
In the other match at the Imota centre All Stars also came all out against Abule Eko All Stars. At the end, it was Imota 2–0 against Abule Eko. With the win, Imota now has 6 points while Abule Eko has no point.

It was all draw as teams go against each other in highly tactical and technical matches at the Ijede centre on Saturday. The clash between Gberigbe All Stars and Elepe All Stars ended in a hard-fought 1–1 draw, in the second game, Igbe All Stars and Ijede All Stars also battled fiercely to a 0–0 draw.
Ijede All Stars now seat comfortably at the league table with 10points after 4 matches, Elepe has 6 points after playing three matches while Gberigbe and Igbe All Stars too now have 6 points each.
Before the massive crowd at the Elepe centre, Tripple O All Stars secured an important 2–0 victory over Accord All Stars while Otugbuwa All Stars also upped its game to record a 2 – 0 decisive win over Alabiamo All Stars, in a thrilling encounter that showcased their tactical intelligence and teamwork.

Tripple O All Stars after the week 4 game, now has 6 points, Accord 4 points, Otugbuwa 3 points and Alabiamo 2points.
At the weekend, teams at the Imota centre of the Ikorodu Constituency II returned to actions showing fine footwork and artistry of football displays to the admiration of fans. Oke Eletu All Stars at the end of the regulation recorded massive 3–0 win against Nwandi Namba All Stars and in the second encounter which was a fierce battle the table topper, Igbogbo All Stars and the mid-table team, Igbalu All Stars ended 3–1 in favour of Igbogbo.
Igbogbo All Stars now has 10 points after 4 matches, Oke Eletu 7 points, Igbalu still on 3 points and Nwandi Namba on 1point.
Speaking after the match, Tira Allstars player, Sodiq Omolayo, expressed mixed feelings about the outcome.

“Though we did our best, the opponents were far better than we are. In our next match, we will push more,” he said.
On the disappointment of losing, Omolayo admitted: “I felt bad. This was our first encounter, but I’m sure in our next match we will play better than that.”
The Unity Cup, which continues to draw grassroots talent, has been praised as a platform for fostering peace, youth development, and unity in Ikorodu. Fans now look forward to the next fixtures, hoping for more exciting displays of football passion.
